Toccata. Live performance by Gabriele Baldocci.
Chopin Nocturne in B Flat Minor is a through-composed Nocturne, divided in four related sections. It was written in 2012 for pianist Roberto Prosseda, and inspired by his recent interpretation of Chopin’s Nocturne in C sharp minor in Mexico City. The work is based on the beauty and simplicity of the melody line, which is transformed throughout and sustained by a broad array of colors and harmonies. Great care has been placed in the position of the hand and the fingering of the many passages.

Writing for the piano in the Twenty-first Century: Le Tombeau de Piano.
The piano repertoire written in the past century typically addresses knowledgeable listeners and is often considered extremely difficult by performers. Hence, a large amount of recent works is failing to attract performing artists and audiences, contributing to the instrument’s loss of prominence. Le Tombeau de Piano is an ongoing compositional effort by Lupis to revive the piano repertoire.
